Saskatchewan Construction Week Celebrates an Industry Building the Province
September 21, 2026
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
REGINA, SK, September 21, 2026. The Construction Association of Saskatchewan (CASK) is proud to launch Saskatchewan Construction Week, running September 21 to 25, 2026. The week is a province-wide celebration of an industry whose impact reaches into every community and every economy across Saskatchewan.
From the roads and hospitals we rely on to the schools, homes, and workplaces that shape daily life, construction touches nearly everything Saskatchewan people build and depend on. Construction Week is an opportunity to recognize that impact and, just as importantly, the people behind it.
“Saskatchewan’s construction industry has so much to be proud of, and this is our week to say so. As a province, we tend to be humble about our accomplishments. Construction Week is a chance to set that aside for a moment and celebrate the extraordinary work our members do every day. The impact this industry has on Saskatchewan is vast, and we are ready to celebrate it.”
Shannon Friesen
President & CEO, Construction Association of Saskatchewan
CASK is inviting members and industry partners to take part by sharing the projects and stories that are active across the province right now. Whether it is a major build underway, a milestone reached, or a team that deserves recognition, participants are encouraged to post their work and tag CASK using #ConstructionWeek and #TogetherWeBuildSK. Community initiatives can be shared using #CASKCares.
CASK has an exciting campaign planned for the full week, with new content each day spotlighting the industry, the projects, and the people who make it all possible. Members, partners, and the public are encouraged to follow along.
The launch reflects momentum that has been building across Saskatchewan. CASK is grateful to the many leaders throughout the province who have already contributed their time and support, and to the communities and levels of government that have issued official proclamations recognizing Saskatchewan Construction Week. That recognition makes the week official and underscores how much this industry matters to the province.
Saskatchewan is often humble. Its construction industry has a great deal to be proud of, and this week, CASK and its members are ready to celebrate it. The celebration also arrives during a milestone year for the association, which is marking 95 years of building Saskatchewan.
