Saskatchewan Construction Associations welcome the 2024-25 CLASSROOMS, CARE & COMMUNITIES Budget
Today, Deputy Premier and Finance Minister Donna Harpauer,
tabled the 2024-25 Classrooms, Care & Communities budget for the Government of
Saskatchewan. We welcome today’s announcement and the government’s commitment to
continued capital investment.
For the second consecutive year, the Government of Saskatchewan has tabled a record-
setting $4.4 billion capital investment. This investment is important to the sustainability and
predictability of the projects that our industry will deliver and rely on for the health of our
workforce and businesses.
“Overall, we fully support the budget as it aligns with our mission: Together, we build Saskatchewan. This means delivering on the investments made in classrooms, care, and communities to drive growth across the province, making Saskatchewan the best place to live, work and build. “

Today’s announcements are crucial due to the expected shortage of skilled workers in our
industry. We are committed to working with the provincial government to ensure a steady
supply of skilled workers. This workforce will play a key role in building essential public
infrastructure, making our province the best place to live and thrive in Canada.
