Kara has worked for the City of Saskatoon for over 20 years. She began her career as a Building Code Engineer and now leads the Building Standards team. Kara is a people leader who enjoys building relationships with industry and encourages her team to find new solutions to deliver effective and efficient permitting programs.

Matt Jurkiewicz

Matt Jurkiewicz

Director of Construction and Design

Matt has 17 years of experience in construction, including residential buildings, roadways, and major infrastructure projects. He is passionate about leadership and collaboration. Some of his many strengths include accountability, integrity, effective communication, team building, and a commitment to employee safety, health, and well-being.
